Second National Steering Group meeting Spain
On March 30th, the second meeting of the National Steering Group (NSG) was held as part of the BIMzeED project, via online through Microsoft Teams. After the welcome by Ferran Bermejo, BIM expert and Technical Director of the Catalan Institute of Construction Technology (ITeC), started with the presentation of the project and the explanation of what has been done so far to put the attendees in context.
Then, the Learning Units were presented. This Learning Units were created through the consensus between all partners of BIMzeED taking into account the skills that had emerged thanks to the analysis of needs of the sector comparing established skills from PROF/TRACK project and BuildingSmart. Thanks to a survey that will be answered by the attendees of the meeting, we will be able to know the interest and the development prioritization towards the Learning Units, in order to modify or amend them if necessary.
The result will originate the Learning Unit Descriptors that will be sent to the partners of the Project for the realization of the content. In the near future, a piloting will be arranged for all those interested entities in its implementation.
“We really appreciate the participation of all the people and entities that have been able to collaborate. We know that the situation is difficult, and we hope that everyone is well. After that, we will be happy to see you again to catch up on the project and explain the results of the surveys”expressed Jose Lucas, in charge of the presentation and head of the BIMzeED project at ITeC.
